ANSWER THIS IF YOU CAN!!
- you enter a bus
- in that you see 7 girls
- each girl has 7 bags
- in each bag there are 7 big cats
- each big cat has 7 small cats
- each cat has 4 legs
Calculate the no of legs in the bus.....

sol>
Each big cats have 7 small cats. Systematically, 7 small cats has 28 legs (7 * 4) combined with the big cat that owns this 7 small cats.Let's call this the "cat chain", so cat chain 1 has 32 legs altogether. So since there are 7 big cats 7 * 32 = 224 legs. Therefore each backpack has 224 legs. Finally, each girl has 7 * 224 = 1568 legs. Lastly, since there are 7 girls, A to G, there are 7 * 1568 legs (per girl) = 10976 legs. Now, since each girl also has 2 legs each and your 2 legs;SO, (7 * 2) + 2 + 10976 = 10992 legs altogether

Time And Distance

A and B are traveling from a distance X and Y. A starts at 12p.m at a speed of 6km/hr and B starts at 1.30p.m at a speed of 8km/hr. At what time will be the 3 km ahead of A.
a) 3p.m
b) 4.30p.m
c) 6p.m
d) 7.30p.m

A start 12 pm 6+6+6+6+3 = 27 km cover at 4:30
B start 1 :30 4+8+8+4 =24 km at 4 30...

a) 45
b) 41
c) 1

Three pipes A,B,C can fill a tank in 6 hrs. After working together for 2 hrs, C is closed and A & B can fill the remaining in 7 hrs.The number of hrs taken by C alone to fill the tank is
a.10
b.12
c.14
d.16
spl>

1/a + 1/b +1/c = 1/6..now in 2 hrs they'l cmplt 1/3 wrk.so the remaining 2/3 wrk is dne in 7 days.so whole wrk by a and b is done in 10.5 days.so 1/a + 1/b=2/21..by solvn 2 eqn we get c=14.

Three numbers which are co-prime to each other are such that the product of the first two is 551 and that of the last two
is 1073. The sum of the three numbers is:
A) 75 B) 81
C) 85 D) 89
sol>since the second no. is common in both products , it must be factor of
both 551 and 1073 ... i.e. 29 so the no .will be 551/29 and 1073/29 i.e.
19,29 and 37 .... so sum is 85

Quant-Term

What is the 2777th term in the series 1234567891011121314……..?
a)9 b)3 c)7 d) 6
Answer : d) 6
Solution :
Proceeding similar to the previous problems, we know that the following.
Number of digits from 1 to 99 = 189
Number of digits from 1 to 999 = 2889
Since 2777 is in between 180 and 2889, it has to be present in somewhere in the range of 100 to 999.
We have to find 2777th term after 1, i.e 2777 - 189 = 2588th term after 99.
Dividing 2588 by 3 we get, 862 and remainder 2.
i.e our answer is the 2nd digit of the number that occurs after 862th number after 99.
892th number after 99 = 862 + 99 = 961
Number after 961 = 962.
Second digit of 962 = 6.

Quant--Term

What is the 27393rd term in the series 1234567891011121314……..?
a)4 b)3 c)5 d)6
Answer : c) 5
Solution :
By closely inspecting the series, one can find the following :
i) There are 9 single digit numbers starting from 1 to 9.
ii) After single digit numbers, 2 digit numbers are in sequence. There are 90 such numbers from 10 to 99. Number of digits occupied by all these numbers = 90 x 2 = 180 digits.
iii) Following 2 digit numbers there would be 3 digit numbers starting from 100 and proceeding upward till 999. There are 900 such numbers ranging from 100 to 999. Number of digits occupied by all these numbers = 900 x 3 = 2700
From above three findings from 1 to 999 the total number of digits occupied will be 9 + 180 + 2700 = 2889 . Following 999, there would be 4 digit numbers starting from 1000 and proceeding upwards.
To solve the question, we have to find 27393rd term from 1. In other words we have to find 27393 - 2889 = 24504th term from 999.
Dividing 24504 by 4 we get 6126 leaving no remainder. This implies that the last digit of the 6126th four digit number starting after 999 is our answer.
i.e last digit of 6126 + 999 = 7125 is our answer. Therefore our answer is 5.
